WEEKEND

We had a great weekend. The kids had fun on their playdate yesterday with their friends Brock & Abbie. Sophie & I went scrapbooking for a couple of hours with friends. It was fun to gab and scrap. Today we had a late lunch out and went to the movie "The Wild". The kids thought it was a great movie. Scott and I thought it was o.k.

I'm waiting for Grey's Anatomy to start and began looking through old pics on my computer for a new scrapbook that I'm going to do for each kid. I came across this old one and wanted to post it. It brought a big smile to my face. Enjoy!!

RAINY DAY

What a yucky rainy day outside. Allie and I decided to swing by the mall instead of spending the morning inside our house. We found some bargains at Eddie Bauer, Claire's and Kohl's. We spent the afternoon at home snuggling and snoozing.

Jake's teacher stopped me after school to let me know that he moved up 2 levels in reading today. He read a very hard book (for his age) to her without any mistakes. She told me she was SO proud she could have cried. I can't believe my Kindergartener is reading. Where has the year gone?

Jake had a dentist appointment after school. He has 2 loose teeth on the bottom. The dentist said that they are barely loose and probably won't fall out until 1st grade. Jake was on cloud 9 to hear that he had loose teeth. He also had a "sugar bug" on a tooth, which means yet another filling. That makes 3!!

We are grilling tonight since the rain stopped and then watching a couple of movies. Not too much planned for the weekend. A playdate tomorrow that the kids are looking forward to and that is about it!

I'm posting an old picture of the kids. It was taken about 2 years ago...they've grown so fast!!

SOCCER ENDS...

Tonight was the last night of the spring session of Rec Center soccer. The kids were sad to have it end. They were extremely excited when Scott was able to break away from work to see them play!! Both tried their best to impress their Dad. They are now looking forward to September when soccer starts again!

NO SCHOOL TODAY
__________________________________

There was NO school today. Thank God it was a nice day and the kids could play outside. Jake had his friend Ben come and play. The boys did a great job tormenting poor Allie. As usual she spent the afternoon whining about the boys not playing with her. Tomorrow we are back to our usual routine! WHEW!!

A WEEKEND IN GRAND MOUND

We spent the weekend in Grand Mound. Papa Rick made the kids malts and let them eat ice cream right out of the container...they thought that was WAY cool!

Jake worked on learning how to ride a 2 wheeler without training wheels. Uncle Michael helped him try to learn on a very girly bike!

We had a game of whiffle ball in Nana & Papa's back yard too. Mom, Nana, Papa, Aunt Mandy, Uncle Michael, Uncle Will, Jake & Allie all played...what fun!!
We also celebrated Ben's 2nd birthday. Hard to believe he's 2 already!
HERE GOES....

I've decided to start posting pictures and descriptions of what we are up to here on this site. Bear with me...I am new at this!
