4 MORE DAYS

Four more days until the Teddy Bear Tea is upon us. Four more hectic, crazy days. What am I forgetting? Who am I forgetting? How will I ever get the seating chart right & not piss people off? Will Santa show up? Will our entertainment show up? Did I order enough food or too much? Will we have enough room? Are my raffle prizes in order? Did I get all of the tags off of the 200 bears? When can I pick up the programs, coloring sheets & name tags from the hospital? What if my volunteers don't show? How many more reservations will come in last minute? When will these questions stop waking me up in the middle of the night?

Seriously, this is the biggest event I've planned. Sure, I have done things on a smaller scale, the talent show, coin drives, the carnival, the giving tree, Scout meetings and so on. This is big. This is the kick off event for the entire Festival of Trees for our community! What if it bombs?? I guess I will cross that bridge when I come to it. Maybe...

On a different note, just to make my life easier, Scout popcorn time is in full swing. So, once I am through with the tea, I am thrust into the middle of the popcorn mess! That starts up again next Friday. I need to try to say NO...I already said NO to popcorn for next year. Good Girl!!

We've had a great week. I volunteered at Hansen on Monday morning & worked at Hansen in the afternoon, Allie had dance that evening. We used the kid's Book It coupons for dinner. On Tuesday, I went to dentist, voted & ran errands. I also volunteered at the Book Fair that afternoon. Yesterday, I spent the whole day at Hansen volunteering at the Book Fair. The kids had religion last night & I ran to Kohl's ALONE! I had a 30% coupon & got some much needed items (or maybe it was much wanted). Today, there is no school & the kids have friends over. Jake is playing with Nick & Allie with Jordyn. I'm hoping to finish up some Teddy Bear Tea stuff & relax. Tomorrow I hope to clean this mess of a house! The weekend brings basketball, a b-day party for Allie & of course the Teddy Bear Tea.
